The Pz.Kpfw.VI Ausf.B King Tiger (late production) is a detailed 1/35 scale model featuring a full interior of this iconic WWII German heavy tank. Designed by Henschel under E. Aders and produced from February 1944, it was known for its thick armor and powerful 8.8 cm long-barreled cannon, capable of penetrating any Allied tank beyond 2000 meters. Nicknamed Tiger II or Königstiger, it faced challenges in mobility and engine reliability. From July 1944, it featured Henschel turrets, and the Zimmerit coating was discontinued from October 1944. A total of 479 units served in heavy tank battalions until the war’s end.
