This is a re-release model of the M60A3 tank, which formed the core of U.S. tank forces alongside the M1 Abrams during the 1980s. The kit features a cast iron chassis inherited from the M48 tanks of the 1950s, powered by a super-charged air-cooled diesel engine. The cast iron turret is mounted with a 105mm gun equipped with a thermal sleeve to prevent barrel distortion. Advanced features for its era include a laser-based rangefinder and ballistic computer, giving the M60A3 exceptional firepower. Production began in 1978, with 3,600 units serving in leading military roles for over 20 years. This 1/35 scale model kit captures the iconic design and engineering of this legendary tank.
