The Sturmeschutz III Ausf.G tank, provided to the Finnish Army by Germany during the Soviet-Finland War of WWII, quickly became their primary tank. It featured a powerful, long-barreled 7.5cm anti-tank gun mounted on a low-profile hull. To serve Finnish needs, the Schürzen armor was removed, tool boxes placed on the rear deck, and Russian DT machine guns installed. In 1944, the Ausf.G successfully defended Finland from Russian invasion, and later further fortified with concrete blocks and logs. After WWII, it continued to serve the Finnish army honorably until the 1960s.

This 1/35 scale model kit faithfully reproduces the stately shape of the Ausf.G vehicle employed by the Finnish armed forces. It includes a range of accessory parts to recreate either early or late types. The DT machine gun boasts a highly detailed finish, while the set also contains a commander torso figure and four decal options. Dimensions: 189mm (L) x 85mm (W).
