The F4U Corsair, boasting a 2,000hp engine and inverted gull wings, is accurately depicted in this kit of the F4U-1A variant. First entering service in the summer of 1943, this model has features such as a taller seat, longer tailwheel, and improved canopy, with the option to assemble the wings in the folded position. Alongside the 1,000lb bombs, drop tanks, and two mark schemes, two pilot figures are also included. The Corsair was a powerful fighter, used from WWII through the Korean War.
