The FCM 36, also known as Char léger Modèle 1936 FCM, was a light infantry tank developed for the French Army before World War II. It featured a two-person crew and was armed with a short 37 mm main gun alongside a 7.5 mm coaxial machine gun. Powered by a diesel engine, 100 units were produced and delivered between 1938 and 1939. These tanks played a role in the French-German conflicts during May and June of 1940.
